![]() There's also various camera triggers that won't be hit otherwise. At least the pipe is, but it's rather difficult to continue without seeing Octodad. You can also get your camera stuck at the entrance of the third area and it'll never leave there, as far as I can tell the rest of the level is loaded there. You can still move through the grate in this case, but the camera won't move and you'll die very soon afterwards. Some other things it can lead to is never spawning the shark. I left the first bit in on this video just to show: It seems that instead of charging being at all useful, if you get one charged swim, and then tap you move incredibly fast and it can lead to some wonky stuff. The other thing I found was a strategy for Shark Naked. Another use I was testing with was a Dance Skip, because the wall blocking your way from moving forward in The Deep Sea has a gap big enough for Octodad to fit through, but it seems that even if you reload checkpoints, your daughter won't continue past the Marine Biologist, and so you can't perform the last action to finish the level. The only legitimate use for it would be to skip the jungle gym climbing at the very end of World of Kelp, but that's now sort of irrelevant given the slide skip. Sadly, it doesn't move very fast if you don't get a very good setup, and what with the amazing collision detection, you can sometimes clip into the items and you'll fall. The three things I've found so far are the Lawn Mower in Home, Sweet Home, the many, many item rack-stand things (The ones that usually have hats on them in Aquatic Fun Center and on) that are in a lot of the levels, and recycling bins. With any item that Octodad can get to support his entire weight you can use to fly. ![]() So I've been doing some casual IL's and I found a couple of things not really mentioned here.
